Bangladesh finally gets a ticket to the World Cup

The cloud of fear has been lifted, all uncertainties have been cleared. Finally, Bangladesh has booked its ticket for the T20 World Cup. Bangladesh has been confirmed to participate in the main round of the Women’s T20 World Cup qualifiers with the Netherlands.

Bangladesh did their job by defeating Thailand in the morning match in the Women’s World Cup qualifiers. The Netherlands women’s victory against the United States in the afternoon match confirmed their ticket for the World Cup.

The Netherlands defeated the United States by 21 runs in a rain-interrupted match on Wednesday afternoon. Batting first, the United States capitalized on 129 runs for 7 wickets. The Netherlands scored 90 runs for 2 wickets in 12 overs when the rain began.

The Dutch were declared the winners through the DLS method. As a result, Bangladesh and the Netherlands’ World Cup tickets were confirmed from the Super Six. Both teams have equal points, with 6.

Scotland and Ireland are the two remaining teams in the race to qualify for the World Cup from the Ashes of the World Cup. The United States and Thailand, who have not received any points so far, have no chance.

This year’s T20 World Cup will be held in England and Wales in June-July.

Despite securing a ticket for the main round, Bangladesh still has two matches left in the qualifiers. Nigar Sultana Jyoti’s team will play against Scotland on Friday and the Netherlands on Sunday.
